My book began in a place of suffering: our experience of parental alienation.

It was born from the need to document a truth that often goes unspoken and to find a language for the grief and the hope that defines this journey.

My purpose is not to tell my story, but to illustrate the story shared by countless targeted parents.

"Hope Is A Gentle Flicker" is my memoir, but this site and blog are its living extensions. Here, the focus shift from the pain of the past to the possibilities of connection in the present.

To protect my stepdaughters, I write under a pen name. This also allows the core message (that of resilience and patient love) to stand clearly, without distraction or risk.
